Google adwords slap "bridge page"

Does anybody know about this? See from adwords:

When we reviewed your account, we noticed that you began advertising on a
disabled site that has violated our Landing Page and Site Quality
guidelines.

Your site 'www.internettvservices.com' was disabled for bridge page. I've
included some details regarding the same below.

Policy specialists have reviewed your site and found that it's currently
not compliant with our Landing Page and Site Policies.

To be considered compliant, the site must provide the user with a
comprehensive online experience. This may include keeping their
experience, both on site and within the URL, on the same domain.

If you have made changes to your site and would like to submit a site
re-enabling request, please respond to this email outlining the reasons
supporting your case.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter and we apologize for any
inconvenience this may cause.

If the site content has changed or the necessary changes have been made,
please respond back to this email for re-review.

So I made some changes and made it so that all the ads went to the index page rather than the review page and re-submitted my site. Then I get this answer:

Thanks for writing back and letting us know about the changes you've made
to your landing page.

I've checked with our specialists on this and confirm that presently the
changes are not compliant with our policy. To be considered compliant, the
site must provide the user with a comprehensive online experience. This
may include keeping their experience, both on site and within the URL, on
the same domain.

I've noticed that users are led to a different domain when they click on
'download' or any other link provided on the site.

Once you have made changes to your site and would like to submit a site
re-enabling request, please respond to this email outlining the reasons
supporting your case.

Ok so it sounds like adwords is saying that they do not allow affiliate sites at all or what???

Please help I worked so long and hard on this site,
Thanks

I have a feeling that Google just dislikes your niche. I've heard stories of this TV to PC stuff on clickbank and Google. There are certain niches they seem to hate on their PPC network and this is one I was told is on the list along with MMO and Weight Loss. Google won't come out and really say that though....they just send you vague emails like the ones you got.

Yeah, maybe, but I will think twice about ever building an affiate marketing site like affiliorama recommends ever again.

Any response from Affiliorama staff about this? Mark Ling?

I am very frustrated about this as I followed affilioblueprint 2.0 to a tee, I spent months building this website, so what is the problem? Anybody?

The problem is that google has decided that they dont like affiate sites for ppc. these changes have gotten worse over the last year.

I believe Mark has even said he is relying more on seo and free traffic methods now than paid traffic. there are also other ad networks like the msn ad network that don't have googles restrictions.

I've had the 'bridge page' message one time.

What I had to do was create another page in between the landing page and the google click. So basically you need to link to a page that has no obviously screaming links that say 'click here' 'download now' etc. right after that someone clicks your ad. What you can do is make an index page where users can browse ahead to their topic or split the page in two; half of the article content without links, and then a 'next page' where your articles links are displayed.

See, right now your visitors are simply told to immediately leave your website and hence, your site is a bridge page. They're not wrong, that's exactly what we want the visitors to do, but Google doesn't see it that way.

Hope you get my point, and if it helps, I've managed to overcome the bridge page message by fixing it that way.

your lucky because at least you got an answer that you can do something with, I got a note that said i was using misleading and unethical business practice and since i made the web site I know i didn't do any of the things they were saying. my site was a solar energy site selling solar panel building instruction. on my site I told how I used the kit to make solar panels and saved money on my energy bills and I did make some and did save money, now I didn't say i made a 1 foot by 1 foot solar panel that powered my entire house, I just said I made some and lowered my bills which was the absolute truth. and i sent them at least 8 notes asking the same thing which was, where on my site did i say anything misleading or do anything unethical but i never got any kind of answer except for the exact one the kept sending me. I did only have a 2 page site and it was my first and i didn't know much about what i was doing but did find out that google likes sites with at least 8 to 10 articles for people to read on them and my site only had 1, now I don't know if it would have mattered to them if i had 10 articles on 1 page or if i needed 10 articles on 10 different pages because i just stopped with them and never looked back, I do plan on using ppc again but I will use someone else, to me google is too full of themselves because i am tired of there line of crap about them providing there customers with the most relevant search results for the best user experience but like I have said in other posts that they don't, I mention how I have seen many times while typing in italian travel that i will see sites for italian travel suits, now to me if google was so good there computers would have filtered out this site just for the fact that it is not about going on vacation it is about selling suits. I wonder if google does this to people that are selling products through the google affiliate network or if it is only other networks. anyhow what Rudolf55 said was true about having all your links on your landing page google doesn't like this and like he said just make another page and move your links to it rather then keeping them on the other page.
