My favorite content creation tools...

Hi All,

Care to share your favorite tools for content creation and publishing?
I'll start off...

Dreamweaver + HTML + CSS - Static web page creation/editing
TopStyle - CSS code validator/debugger
CSE - HTML code validator/debugger
WordPress - The only CMS program I'd consider
Pixie (free) - Hover your mouse cursor over a pixel to read out its color code
JRuler (free) - Measure screen dimensions in pixels
WS_FTP - Excellent FTP app for uploads and downloads
MailChimp (free up to 1,200 email/mth) - Email system (may not be affiliate friendly)
FastFontPreview (free) - inspect, select or categorize from all your typefaces quickly
XAMPP (free) - Apache personal web server + MySQL and PHP for local testing of Websites and Blogs
Moodle (free) - Courseware for creating professional online courses (used by major universities, etc.)
Adobe Photoshop - Image editor (Adobe Photoshop Elements is much cheaper and almost as good). GIMP is a good free image editor.
SmartDraw - Charts, graphs, etc.
Microsoft OneNote (part of Office 2010) - Project planning, task management, online collaboration, etc.
Camtasia Studio - Screen capture videos, video and audio editing
Acoustica - Professional audio editing
Microsoft Word - Writing/editing
TrueCrypt (free) - If you need to make folders very secure

Hope this helps...

Thanks for sharing jimcoe! This is a handy list members here might find useful to refer to. I'd like to add Grammarly. It's a website where you can just put in your article and check then for grammar errors. :)

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

XsitePro is also great for newbies. It's built for internet marketers and is very user friendly. You can easily set up and publish your pages on the fast track. :)

I use Serif x5 web editor and I haven't found too many things it doesn't do so I bought Photo plus 5 and draw plus 5. I have used photoshop and it seems line photo plus does everything photoshop does. I have only used draw plus a few times and it works great along side with photo plus if you want to add wording to a picture. Web x5 is also easy to use and you can either make a web page from scratch or they have a lot of templates for free and more for extra money. I like there stuff and works great for me. Mark

I think we should also add Content Curation tools here since content is not just images and overall website design. Some content curation sites are listed on this thread:

Content Curation and the Affiliate Marketer

Hope that helps. Have a good day!
