Trouble with ebook download - How do I fix it?

I am trying to give away an ebook via a download.
Now I have aweber(finally)
but this file is too big for their "attaching" to
an email.I have uploaded the ebook to my server
but I cannot figure out how
to allow someone to download it.I can copy the
link where the book is located and here it is:

*broken link*

If someone were to go there this is what they would see:

File Type: PDF document, version 1.5

Show File Contents
Delete File
Change Permissions
Rename File
Copy File
Move File

If they click on "copy file" this is what they see:

/ (Current Folder)
Up one level
.cpaddons
.cpanel-datastore
.sqmaildata
.trash
downloads
etc
logs
mail
public_ftp
public_html
tmp
www

I know this is way more complicated than it needs to be.
Can someone tell me how to make one link
to instantly download the thing?Or send in an email for download?
thanks for your time.I am sure this has been covered before,
but I searched and I read what i could but I am still confused.
Maybe this should be a feature of xsite pro for newbies so we
could do it more easily?

I got an answer as follows from xsite pro forum:

That is a link taking me into your cpanel login, it's not right. You need to upload the book into a folder which resides inside the /www or /public_html folders on your server such as *broken link*

just rename your ebook something simple. Then use a 3rd party FTP program and upload it to your public html files.

Then link to the book from there. put the link in your html email.

    http://www.yoursite.com/yourebook.pdf

my reply:
ok I renamed it.and moved it.Now it seems to work as a download athough I can't really say I understand why or how.So Now I can just put this link in an email? right?

Nope, that's still not working.

When you renamed your file, you didn't include the file extension (.pdf) so when your visitors click the link they'll be asked what program they want to use to open it. Not so cool!

Just go in and rename the file seo-ebook.pdf and it should work.

Ok try this .I also have a question about aweber.I want to have different downloads for differnet opt-in forms and i am having a devil of a time figuring out how to do it.any ideas?

I really need a video tutorial on the whole download process because i want to be able to give away as well as sell ebooks on my site.
I am giving away the transcript you gave us from marc and Daniel and I want to have a "hover pop" giving away the seo made easy, rebranded from brad callen also.(seo2020)
