Re-using Old Domain

I am planning to re-use an old domain that has only few spammy backlinks to one page.

Would it be fine if I just disavow the links and delete the page then use the domain like I would normally?

Any recommendations?

 Yes you can delete the page and disavow the links.

 Yes, u can remove links from your disavow file and those link count again....

 Just Disavow the spammy links and you're good to go. Just make sure the disavow file is accurate else it won't work.

 I would say that you can use that domain pretty safe if you remove unnecessary and bad links from there, the domain will still be good and you won't have any problems with rankings that way.

 Yes you can clean up the links and reuse the site as you originally intended to. Just make sure not to post anymore spammy links on the site.

 I agree with all the commentators in this topic, the best way is to clean up the page and disavow the links in order to make your new website clear.
Ofc, it will be quite time-consuming task, but anyway, you will build up a new wesbite which might be better than the old one. There might be some issues with reusing the old domain, be convinced that you can still rent the host to this domain.

So, actually, there are no other ways than just cleaning everything and start all over again. It wil be the same like you will choose new domain and build a website again. If you all domain still works and there is website, then everything is much easier.
