Can You Hide Affiliate Link In Browser?

Hey everyone,

so this code is really good for hiding your hoplink on your website when someone rolls their mouse over your link.

onMouseOver="window.status='http://www.website_that_you_want_to_show.com'; return true"

Question:

when someone DOES click your link and they're taken to the merchant site, is there a way to hide your hoplink and get it out of the Browser address bar so it's not seen?

thanks,

Yes, I know two ways:

1) Meta Redirect (I am using this with success)

here is the redirect code:

============== Code Start ===============
<HTML><HEAD>
<META NAME="description"
CONTENT="YOUR-SITE-URL-HERE">
<META NAME="keywords" CONTENT="">
</HEAD>
<FRAMESET border=0 rows="100%,*" frameborder="no"
marginleft=0 margintop=0 marginright=0 marginbottom=0>
<frame
src="YOUR-CLICK-BANK-URL-HERE"
scrolling=auto frameborder="no" border=0 noresize>
<frame topmargin="0" marginwidth=0 scrolling=no marginheight=0
frameborder="no" border=0 noresize>
</FRAMESET>
</HTML>

=============== Code End ================

You must copy the code in your index file, save it, and upload it to your server.

Like this, when someone click on your site:

    http://www.Your-Site.com
he is redirected on

    http://www.Your-affiliate-site.com

Let me know if you need help.
(You can also copy on a subfolder)

2) Affiliate Cloner

I posted about what it can do for you on my affiliate blog.

Tyler,

Just wanted to add something. That JS code only works in IE, not in Firefox.

Hey Tyler,

It's working in Firefox too. What do you mean?

I meant this one above. Does it work for you? As far as I can tell, even from Googling it, it doesn't work for FF.

Ah!

I wasn't talking about this one! Sorry Alvin, I misunderstood...

The onmouseover code is placed in the first <a href> tag

Surely it wouldn't matter what browser you're using? I would've thought code was code....
