Ask around with your team and/or agency to see if there were any high-impact changes made to the website. Check with your team and/or agency to see if anything was changed recently. Also check your project management software and code repository for any activity that may be related to the ranking drop.

If your website is just new, then a drop in rankings after a few days or weeks on top is just normal.

Continue building quality links and re-evaluate your SEO efforts, particularly on your keyword choices.

Your target keywords should be in line to what your website is about and what your content is about.

 If your website on-page and off-page are low quality then you have to improved this. But if this is algorithm update problem then you don't have anything.

 Hello,
This is really bad happens to you if your website ranking drops but you should be aware for this. You can track your rankings on daily basis.There are following reasons for droping your rank on google:
1.Google update their algorithm- The bad news here is that if Google’s updated their algorithm you're going to have to change your approach to SEO in one way or another.
2.Your site lose links-The key here is to figure out who you lost links from and why, so you can try to regain or replace them.
3.You change internal links to the affected page- Now this your issue then Figure out how many internal links have been removed from pointing to your affected pages.
4.You change the affected page-Good news You can probably revert your site and regain the traffic you’ve lost.
5.Google’s user feedback says you should rank differently.If the issue is a new popup do your best to convince your marketing team to test a different type of popup.
