Help With Keyword Issue

Hello I need you guys to help me out here. I had an online site audit my blog for me. They said my keywords were either too long or too short. I though creating long-tailed keywords improved your rankings on the search engines. Please help
Thanx

Long tail keyword is usually easier to rank on SERPs. But what exactly are you referring to? Is it too short/long meta title tag? description tag?

Targeting long-tail keywords is always a better option and you have the consider the length of the title tag and description. You have to target long-tail keywords as per the length of title and meta description

Limit your title tag to 50-60 words only since this is the number of words displayed by Google in their search results.

using Long tail keywords for SEO is a Nice Strategy...But you need to take care of Url, meta title and Meta descreption..make sure your title not more than 60 chars and description 160 chars.

Can you please advise which is the best free keyword planner to use currently? I cannot invest in a paid keyword planner right now.

You better check with some online checker how compete your keywords really are and then go from that further and you should be totally ok as for me. Don't just select your keywords simply out of nowhere please. It will not work anyway. Can you do that? I hope that so.

Long-tail keywords are a good strategy for top ranking but even short tail keywords take time for ranking.
