 Scores between 40 and 50 are considered average. Domain Authority between 50 and 60 must be rated as good. Scores above 60 rate the Domain Authority as excellent.

 Domain authority is just that, an overall value for the domain. So, if you go to a site where the links all come to a home page or the vast majority do, you are going to see a high PA for the home page PA. If that same site has 50 pages with few links you are going to see a lot of PA=1.

 In brief, the page, authority, and domain authority are more or less similar. The page authority determines the growth rate of your content and the keywords you are targeting for fetching traffic. In comparison, the domain authority is about the likelihood of ranking your website on the SERP.

Domain Authority is a score (on a 100-point scale) that reflects the overall authority of a domain-relative to all other domains. Page Authority is a score (on a 100-point scale) that reflects the overall authority of a page relative to all other pages on the web.

Both Domain Authority and Page Authority are determined by Moz's link intelligence algorithm, which looks at links from across the web to your site and determines how influential they are. The more high-quality links you have, the higher your Domain Authority and Page Authority will be.

 Page authority is a prediction of how well any one of your webpages will rank in the SERPs. But domain authority measures the whole domain. Moz gives out the domain authority, and to boost your authority, get high quality links from related and highly-relevant sites (preferably) in your niche.

 Domain Authority and Page Authority are put forth by Moz and not Google. So it serves as an indication of how authoritative a domain is on the scale of 0 to 100. While Domain authority (DA) refers to domain's authority, Page Authority or PA refers to the page level authority.
