WP alternative for AdSense!

WordPress.com has announced a program that aims to offer bloggers an alternative to Google’s AdSense for monetizing their sites.

WordAds is Wordpress' equivalent of AdWords and is another way for bloggers to monetize their sites with. Wordpress is asking interested bloggers to fill out a form which I think is a way for them to test the waters, so to speak. It's interesting that they are only going to run these ads on public Wordpress blogs with their own domains. If I remember correctly, AdWords is available to ALL Blogger/Blogspot users. I suppose it's a good way to get back the USD$17 a year that you'll pay Wordpress to get a custom domain.

Wordpress domain hosting is a bit expensive... Would prefer to try something free like Bidvertiser

I agree. You can also get a self-hosted Wordpress site as well as domain for that amount and monetize that any way you like.

Happy Holidays!

Google doesn't terminate adsense accounts for having an autoblog. They may de-index the site.

Hi lizatailor23,

I'm sorry but I do not understand your post. Do you mean Google will not terminate adsense accounts that have autoblogs, but rather will de-index their sites?

If that is what you mean, then Google can choose to terminate your AdSense account if they find that you violate any of their TOS.

Happy Holidays!

In my opinion, there is no program that could compare with Google adsense. It is the best earning online program above all because it is managed by the Google who is the greatest in its field.

While Google may be at the top of the pyramid, it doesn't mean that they are the best. There are other ways to monetize your site that will earn you bigger commissions. Here are some other CPC networks.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!
