Same landing page for Google, yahoo, and bing, or no?

I want to try Pay Per Click, but I'm a little confused. I got one of Frank Kern's old courses from a friend called "List Control". Back then people were mainly doing PPC through Google, yahoo, and MSN. Now I'm guessing the top three are Google, Yahoo, and Bing, is that right?

And the second thing I'm wondering is if I need more than one kind of landing page (sqeeze page). Because back then Frank was saying that you can use a simple squeeze page at yahoo and msn, but that Google was a bit pickier about the landing page, so you had to have like a blog with a few posts and a sign up box on the side. I guess you would send traffic to that which would probably not be as effective as a squeeze page, but apparently what google wanted.

So what kind of landing page will I need for Google these days, and would I use the same or different kind of landing page for yahoo and bing?

Google landing pages require a good number of words. As long as your landing page is full of quality content; it will pass from Google's standards.

You can use the same landing page to Yahoo and Bing since everything that these two search engines require are already covered if you're making a Google-friendly page.

That's what I thought, but I didn't think the kind of squeeze page example that we're given with affilojetpack was very wordy. Just a headline and some bullet point benefits, about like the two examples on that page you linked to. Is that really enough to please Google?

This was a featured article in Google, not an ad:

http://upfuel.com/make-money-with-amazon/

But it looks like a landing page to me and more like what I thought Google wanted to see. The article is long and gives "the top 20 ways to make money with amazon associates". It has the obvious sign up box in the right sidebar, and a call to action at the end of the article if they want to learn more. In the header is a link to the free course as well, and there is a pop up to get people to sign up.

I tried searching google for other landing page examples. I saw several that were wordy, but I wasn't finding any examples like what we're doing - giving away a free book in exchange for their email address. Would love to see some more examples like that if anybody knows of any, doesn't have to be your own.
