cpa for list building? good idea?

how much would you value a list subscriber for the weight loss niche? and would it be better to go through cpa for this soul purpose for the amount that you think they are worth?

Also what are the best and cheapest cpa networks?

cheers

If you're a beginner, I suggest that you concentrate your efforts on learning SEO first before going into paid traffic. That way, you will learned all about monetization, targeting your audience and tracking your results. You'll be spending a lot if you were still learning how to make everything work while you’re paying to get traffic to your site.

i'm just getting a bit impatient and finding seo a bit of an uphill struggle to be honest, and i just want a quick way of building my list up if there is such a way lol. also i am willing to lose some money on getting traffic and find seo to be just as expensive but takes much much longer

Valuing a subscriber is dependent on the product(s) you are promoting isn't it? Perhaps someone with existing data from their weight loss campaigns can provide such information. However, just a word of caution that their figures might not be true for you even if you use the same cpa networks, squeeze pages, etc. With cpa, you'd have to think about ad blindness, ad copy, etc as well.

You definitely can get a list built faster using paid traffic, but it is not necessarily easier. Having done some cpa, I'd say its a different ball game altogether. I haven't watched the PPC tutorials but that might be a good place to start if you want to look into this area more. Also, make sure you have good tracking in place for your campaigns.

Hope that helps.

Dont know you plan, but it works well if your site is condusive for lists
Do some testing of course

You could use incentivised offers to captue emails,or if the visitor goes to click off your offer, use a pop over with a free ebook etc
