Hi,

You promote YouTube videos the same way you would promote your articles. You need to start with on-page SEO , the same way you would for your articles: target keyword in the title if possible and in the video description. Don't forget a link to the affiliate offer, or the relevant post on your site.

You can then share the video on your site's social media sites and on blogs or forums as part of your signature.

The following blog post was published back in 2011, bit I think it has some good tips you can still apply today: Viral YouTube Marketing Lessons from a WWE Wrestler

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

If you want to promote your video site then use SEO technique. SEO is free of cost and gives long time result. You have to create article for your site and post on the video hosting sites. Press release is also very good technique to promote your video with attractive images and unique content.

Use as many tags as you can! Add it to your playlist. Be creative in your response to the video...in commenting. Be sure to interact using social media...& have it embedded on these or a blog if you have one. Just having a video up on Youtube will not get the response you're looking for, it will require a large amount of work surrounding the video to direct people to it. Good luck!

Is there recommended SEO tips on YT videos!? ie keyworded title, description etc.
And how can one make use of embedded videos from their own YT channel on their own blog (again in terms of SEO)!?
thanks

ainu011, hopefully the above article will answer your first question better & more thoroughly than I would be able to at this hour!

Embedding your video would be different depending upon the web hosting service that you're working with. You should just be able to google, "embed YouTube video on XYZ blog" and it will shoot back with step-by-step guidelines for doing what you're trying to do. Hope this helps!

The best way to do it is post them to your myspace or facebook. Another way to do it is to find a video like it and post it as a Video Response. you can also hire experts from SEOclerks.

Make good use of the Youtube tools available to make sure your video can be found. Include a good title, video description and tags so that you will not only appear in Google for your chosen keywords, but also on the Youtube video search.

Take time to interact with other video channel owners, watching their related videos and posting very relevant and lengthy comments. Don't mention your videos at all and don't link back to your channel.

If someone likes what you have to say on the comments that are under another channel owner's video, then they will take time to visit your channel.

Another technique is to pin your videos on Pinterest and share on Facebook with your friends list. This will increase views of your videos. You might be able to share videos via an advertising group on Facebook. All these things will increase views.

It's up to you to make sure the video is highest quality and informative so that once you get the views, that converts into sales.

Don't forget you can always use your videos on your original website if you have one or make blogger page, hubpage, squido etc that would be informative and hold your YT video.

You can even make additional revenue on top of what you have with your yt etc.

A similar idea would be to contact site owners who have very large blogs or websites with established websites and ask them to feature your video as part of a blog post. If your video relates to the content they are already publishing, they might consider the idea. This will almost certainly guarantee views of your video.
