Yes, you can use Facebook to increase your online presence. It's difficult, but worth it. The catch with Facebook is that you need people to LIKE your page. That way, each time you update your status, it would be shown on the Facebook walls of the people who liked your page.

Hope that helps. have a good day!

I've just setup a (my 3rd) business page on Facebook for my new site. Now I need to spend money on a short Facebook PPC campaign to get targeted "fans" to join the page and do regular automatic Facebook posts of my blog posts (when I get the funds together).

The last time I did PPC on Facebook (they have a good system), I set a $99 limit and got about 130 people joining up, which then attracted some more (but not a lot).

I also have to go through the Facebook "Invite your friends" task to invite people from my other FB pages and any on my contact lists that I want.

And I recently added some stuff to my Google + page for the new site and setup Google to recognize me as "author" (an important step for blogs, especially if there are guest bloggers or other authors).

Here's the link (such as it is at this early stage):

Facebook marketing is a very effective strategy if you know what you are doing. Facebook has a lot of features that you can utilize to promote your product, service, blog or website. The very first thing you should do is create a Facebook Page for whatever it is that you are marketing. Remember that a Facebook page is different from a Facebook profile. A "Page" can be seen by anyone on the internet whether he/she is logged into Facebook. A "Profile" on the other hand can only be seen by logged in users. I'm sure you see the benefits of a Facebook page over a profile here.

Just a suggestion on this of something I have seen other people do. You can actually setup your Facebook pages to act as a lead capture page and have it so people can join your mailing list and get a free product before liking your page. You have to know HTML but its a great idea! As soon as I get mine done I will be sure to share it with everyone so you can all see what I mean.

Thanks,

Absolutely! As long as the offer is available for social media traffic, you can generate income using affiliate offers on Facebook, etc. Though keep in mind that typical affiliate offers that convert well for other media types (email, PPC, etc) don't always convert well for social. You need the right offer for sure.

There is a platform launching soon called http://www.Linksert.net. It simplifies affiliate marketing on social platforms a great deal. Linksert aggregates most affiliate networks, let's you create affiliated links with one-click, and then to share the shortened link wherever you want. Earn a commission recommending products you love!

Hi guys,

Yes the idea is to actually create a business page on facebook and make a lot of people or fans to like that page. One unadvisable way to do affiliate marketing is to actually do it on your own feed because your friends will actually hate you for that and will actually consider it as spamming.

There's actually this free training webinar that you can learn from about this which is really helpful.. http://www.whattodowithmymoney.com/facebookmarketing101

The creator, Michelle Pescosolido was actually a struggling internet marketer at that time before she was able to master the techniques she is sharing on the video.. It was actually so effective that she was able to generate a 6 figure income business in 6 months.. I also can't believe it till I watched it..

Yeah, so to answer your question, it's possible..

Facebook and Twitter are great avenues to promote
your business! Imagine the vast number of people using
it everyday and night! I am pretty sure that promoting them
through Social Media Network will be of great great help!
