Adding videos to my blog a good idea?

I would like to add youtube music videos to my blog. But i don't know if it's beneficial for-seo and trafffic stuff. I mean I want to comment on singer and whatever she's doing soo. Does that make sense? Would anyone visit the blog?

Yes, it's okay to add YouTube videos to your blog. In fact, this is one way to increase your page rank and web traffic. So yes, it helps on your SEO.

 From everything I have read it is a good idea. Google is looking at sites that have good content, pictures and video. It all adds up to good SEO.

 Best way to look at it rhoda is - will your visitors like it? Would videos complement your site? If the answer is yes, add it to the blog. Even if Google doesn't show your blog love, you could get traffic via referrals from happy visitors.

 It's a great idea, especially when you do videos on YouTube. Google will send their love too, as long as it's not spammy. I have some pages on my sites that rank high because of the YouTube videos on it.
