Disney World Vacations -- Good niche or not?

Hi everyone,

I was hoping everyone could give me some advice on the niche I'm thinking about. I've gone around and around thinking of something that I'm passionate about (or at least very interested in). I know there are a lot of them out there already, but something I love doing / vacation at, and I love talking about, is Disney World. I've gone there about 8 times and I could talk about it with people endlessly.

My concern is, is there really a good way to monetize a site about Disney World vacationing? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

 I think this is a good niche to pursue. This is a huge market but like we always say you can always find some ways to compete with other sites even if the niche is saturated. As long as there is a huge market for this niche, the potential of earning money is higher.

The good thing about this niche is that you have the potential of expanding the site into something more like putting up a community or forum once your site is gaining huge traffic and clicks.

 Great, thanks for the quick response! I'm glad to hear that. Do you know of any good affiliate programs I could work with on something like this? I guess I could also create my own product(s) - reports/guides, etc.

 You may Google 'Disneyland affiliates' to find potential vendors for your website. Aside from travel agencies or hotels or deals, you may also promote Disney merchandise products. You may promote Amazon products for this. And yes you may create your own products as well like an ebook if you say you have the knowledge and possible about the niche.

 You can create a site on Disney World and promote vacation- or travel-related products on it. There are also travel affiliate programs or vacation affiliate programs you can promote within the site.

Disney World is the attraction and you can build a site that is all about it : the rides, how to best tour it, its different locations, history, etc. Disney World is your sub-niche and vacation/travel is your main niche.

So while you're writing about travelling to Disney World, you are promoting the best vacation packages to Disney World, or great hotel packages from hotels near Disney World for a commission.

Yes. There are a lot of things you can do to monetize this site. You may:

1. Promote digital and/or physical products
2. Do Adsense- but you must take extra precaution with this and strictly follow the terms and conditions to get accepted
3. Create your own products
4. Build your own community/forum

The above are just a few of the many things you can do to monetize the site.

 You can create ads and target those ads to your traffic for keywords like "vacation". If your offer includes discounts, then you can include something like "Limited Discount" along with the ad.
