I have forwarded your feedback to Mark. He did create a video tutorial on Facebook marketing but only for Affilojetpack members.

Building a blog, doing SEO and email marketing are not a total waste of time, IMO. It is still worth their while as they are established methods in affiliate marketing.

Granted that Facebook is the leading social media platform, any affiliate marketer should be looking at including Facebook in their inbound marketing strategy. As Caleb's webinar pointed out, results are faster when you include Facebook marketing in your marketing strategy but it is not the end-all, be-all of traffic methods.

One of the great things about these webinars is that it keeps our members abreast of what are the current trends in inbound marketing, SEO, etc. We do not oblige our members to purchase the course being offered. You can take what you have learned and then look for other resources sharing similar information. Apart from the information here in Affilorama, I also check out other websites like the Social Media Examiner's podcasts. They are on iTunes and Spotify and are a great source of everything to do with social media marketing.

You know it's really depends on the niche. For example I have worked with something like vaping niche, they do have blog and shop and SEO and list, but most of sales coming from posts in FB groups and posts on forums like that, just niche ones. So go figure.
