Fluctuation in ranking of my client wesites

I found a major fluctuation of in the keyword ranking of my client websites.

Did Google release any latest update which is affecting keywords ranking?

 No known updates on Google. It is, however, possible that you have added new keywords to your site, which you have not yet ranked for. This will bring down your rankings since "visibility" on SERPs is based on all your target keywords not just a set of keywords.

 If you are signed in at home and work, Google will give different ranks. If the personalization option you are selected, the results may be delivered by Google on the basis of IP address.
If you have made a lot major changes on website such as a massive change in the Title tags, it will result in a quick shift in the ranking. The freshness, sandboxing, and rapid plummet will lead to an increase in the ranking, which will take some days or a few weeks to settle down. And this is one reason why you should choose Title tags carefully and stick to them. Lot of changes in Title tags is something, which I do not recommend.

 The primary factor of fluctuation in ranking is Google updated on the algorithm, each and every day they are trying something new to better results to the users.

There are many other factors included as well from your side
If you have crawling issue, Hosting issue, changing on the Onpage, keyword mapping, Changes from the sites which you have used for link buildings, changes in competitors SEO strategies.

Especially if you have tried any blackhat techniques, you will get frequent fluctuation. Search engine optimization is the ongoing process, and you have to ensure your quality effort regularly to get stable results on SERP.

You can clearly see there won't be any notable changes in other search engines like yahoo, Bing.

 Sometimes, affiliate marketing can seem like more of an art than than a science.

Many of the arcane terms can make your head swim. Just stick with it and don't give up.

 Me too. I've gone from multiple KW in the top 10, to nothing - literally overnight!!! Traffic dropped 95%. I feel sick.

I'm fairly sure I've done nothing remotely black-hat, the site has not been de-indexed, and Search Console doesn't mention a manual action.

 It is absolutely normal to see rankings fluctuate on daily basis, Rand Fishkin answered this type of question in one of his Whiteboard Friday's (Check out Moz Website). On average, position can fluctuate 1-3 positions daily, this happens as a result of Googles Algorithms.

 The fluctuation depends upon a lot of factors. Although Google's algorithms are not stable for the sake of its users, you can find that it is normal to fluctuate in a lower position.

In your case (you say major fluctuation), just continue tweaking until you reach #1. Do not do black hat for desperation too. Hope this helps.

 There are no updates at all. This may be due to keyword jumping. You check the backlink system. Spam
