A decent article submitter

Hi
Must admit, I haven't been here for a while as I've been running an off-line business for a friend who was ill.

After a visit to my doctor he told me to get a hobby that was interesting and energetic, so you can lose some weight. So I've taken up Lure fishing and even produced a website on the same subject.

I've written several articales about the sport and how to lose weight at the same time and plan to write more when I have time. The reason I'm posting is I'm looking for a decent article submitter.

I've been using 'Matt Carters' Rapid Rewriter software to spin my articles (it came with his course) and there are a couple of directory submitters at the bottom of the re-writers window,

Both of these were recomended by Matt, but as I couldn't afford both of them at $67 each so I had to chose one. In the end I chose 'Unique Article Wizard' which I used for a couple of months.

But you could tell something was wrong with the product after the owner started a competion to see who could come up with the best submission website or blog and win a prize. Well, to me, it looked like the guy was running out of sites to submit to. So I quit

I wasn't getting half the hits that Matt claimed to have got and after a month I got a list of potentiall sites I could have submitted to and looked at them in a browser. Over half weren't there giving 'Page could not be found' notices when I entered their addresses into the address bar.

So I'm looking for a more reliable submitter to start getting my articles out on the Internet and get some links back to my site. I'm not worried about paying out another $67 a month as long as I'm going to get a return for my buck.

Thanks a lot.

A little food for thought for you here ......

http://www.potpiegirl.com/2012/03/the-sky-is-falling/

You have a unique selling point and one that would interest many people - Start socializing and building up your 'tribe' and you will see far better results than by relying on articles alone.

I didn't intend relying on articles alone, that would be stupid. But because I don't have that much time to pursue other avenues of SEO, I wanted to start with something I understood and had some success with in the past before I struck out in other directions.

I thankyou for your reply, but your little 'Food for thought' is'nt the help I was looking for(I read half the post and added it to my favourites and I'll read the rest tomorrow).

A decent article submission site would have been a lot more help.

Thanks anyway.

linconian,

You should get Article marketing robot and forget about most linknetwork schemes. If you learn how to harvest your own sites to submit to with AMR if will help you a lot... There are also lists available on sites such as fiver for instance.

I'd really rather spend money on outsourcing articles and then submit those in various directories and put the best ones up on my website. Another option to consider is guest blogging. This is gaining popularity as one method of getting backlinks and traffic to your site. Try looking for blogs within your niche and participate in them through commenting, get to know the blog owner and try get a guest post in.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!

Thanks for all your replies.

As for outsourcing, well I've read a lot of articles that have been written in this way and I must say I wasn't impressed.

I think your waisting time and money hunting for the right person to do what I enjoy doing anyway.

I hadn't thought of 'Geust Blogging' Cecille, but I'll look into that. As for posting my articles on my site I would have done that anyway.

I saw one of Marks many videos on 'Article Marketing Automation' and am thinking of using that in the near future.

Thanks again.

I do believe that after Google Panda launch , article submission lost its importance. Guest blogging is gaining its importance.

It's not that article submission lost its importance. Most article directories either lost their rank or became more strict with their rules after the Panda update that made it more difficult to submit articles to them. We came out with a blog post that gives tips on article submission/article marketing:

Is Article Marketing Dead?

Hope that helps. Have a good day!
