AffiloJetpack Still On Track To Release New Version Soon?

I've recently purchased Affilojetpack after months of research and deliberation. I must say that I'm quite disappointed in how out-of-date it is. Beginning with keyword research/sub-niche formation is difficult because the instructional videos all point to versions of Google Keyword Tool and Traffic Travis editions that are out-of-date and no longer in use. I am asking a staff member if the AJP is still on track to release an update by the end of the year (approx. the next 3 months) and if these issues will be corrected.

Hi Quiana,

I apologize for any inconvenience or confusion caused. Yes, we will be releasing a new version of Affilojetapack later in the year. I still do not have an exact date but it should be within the next few months.

I appreciate your patience and hope that helps. Have a good day!

Google has just released a new update call "Hummingbird". I hope you will take this update into the AJP.

Hi benns,

The Hummingbird algorithm, in a nutshell, is the newest Google algo update that speeds up the return of search results. I don't think this has direct impact to a site's ranking like the Panda and Penguin, but it's just been released so it's too early to tell.

I can't say for sure but it'll probably be taken into account in updating the Affilojetpack lessons. We are still deep into the update process as it is and might not be able to release the new version within the year.

Hope that helps. Have a great weekend!

Hi Cecille, I have been slowly learning...its the busyness of my life the last few months that has taken me away from my IM dream. ...Still continue to read posts and stuff..so much info to take in though...I have to be honest and say I found the present JetPack after I purchased quite outdated and so got disappointed I didnt ask for a refund because I dont think it deserved that but I thought I would wait cause I had heard that a New Revamped Modern AffiliojetPack would be soon released so Im holding out for that. So I have let other things take my attention but Im keen to get back on this IM Journey again. ---- 2 quick questions Cecille
1. Are existing Jetpack members still allowed access to the Jetpack Update.
2. Will there be new niches to choose from? I have found many of the newsletters in the niches are very broad and not very specific at all, which means having to write entire new newsletters yourself.

Hi teaorangiharrington,

I apologize for the delay in responding to your inquiry.

1. Are existing Jetpack members still allowed access to the Jetpack Update.

>>> I'm sorry, we do not have information on this yet as Affilojetpack is yet to be released. We are still working on the new Affilojetpack course and we will be able to confirm this once the project has been completed.

2. Will there be new niches to choose from? I have found many of the newsletters in the niches are very broad and not very specific at all, which means having to write entire new newsletters yourself.

>>> There will be new niches added to the current 11 in Affilojetpack and all the content including the newsletters will be updated.

I appreciate your patience and hope that helps. Have a good day!

Hi Cecille,

Any new info on the update? As you've repeated in this post and many others, the update is "still on track" to be released by the end of the year, however the end of the year is now weeks away. I would assume you should be preparing for the launch rather than completing the update, no?

Please let me know what's going on with the update. I am still waiting and looking forward to it.

Thanks,
Quiana

Hi Quiana,

I'm sorry, I mentioned at the beginning of this thread that we will be releasing Affilojetpack within the year. I'm afraid we will not be able to release the new Affilojetpack by the end of the year as we are still working to complete the new niches. We are looking to release the new version early next year, if possible.

I apologize for any inconvenience or confusion this caused.

All the best!

Hi all,

We're about three weeks away from letting the first batch of intrepid testers into the new AffiloJetpack. We'll be getting some of our existing members to give it a whirl before we open it up to the general public because there have been some pretty major overhauls -- particularly when it comes to setting up a website. So we want to make sure we've stomped on any bugs before we let you play.

I can tell you that we've got 7 new niches (18 in total). All the old niches have had their content and affiliate products updated.

We've got a new fancy system to save you from copying/pasting all your newsletters into an autoresponder. This is actually part of a string of new fanciness, that goes like this...

1) You unlock the niche
2) You tell us your affiliate ID (Clickbank, CJ)
3) You tell us your domain name (you can also buy one from inside AJP, I think)
4) We unleash the wizard, and add your affiliate ID into your affiliate links, create friendly redirects on your domain name (eg, yourdomain.com/go/producthere), and then...
5) We can automatically upload the emails into an autoresponder (Fluttermail is the only option since this is one of our sister companies, meaning we can get them to play nicely with this fanciness). Your emails will automatically be added with all your fancy new redirect links to the affiliate products.

So whereas before there was (copy => paste => edit affiliate link) x 90 emails... now it's all automatic.

That and a few other things (like the feat involved in checking and updating something like 1800 emails, 54 bonus reports, 360 research documents, etc, etc) is what has taken so long. For it to be any value to you it needs to be unbreakable and top-quality, so that's what we've been working on.

I'm really pleased that you guys have been hanging on this long though. It's going to be worth it.

I can say (because I know a number of you were wondering)... if you buy AffiloJetpack now, you WILL be automatically updated to the new version when it comes out -- which should be in the next couple of months. So if you want to get in and take a look around, you can. But keep in mind that everything will be updating pretty soon.

@Dennis: Mark will be putting on a free webinar, and we will definitely be mailing about it. So if you receive our emails, you'll hear about it.

I can now reveal the new niches we've got lined up.

1) Pregnancy and fertility
2) Dating tips for women (to go along with the "Dating tips for men" niche in the original -- now ladies can get some action too!)
3) Hawaii travel
4) Survival
5) Diet and nutrition
6) Natural health
7) Spirituality and alternative beliefs

These are all HUGE standalone topics, and a lot of them will also work great together as a larger website, particularly with some of our original niches. (Eg "Diet and nutrition" + "Weight loss", or "Diet and nutrition" + "Muscle building", or "Spirituality and alternative beliefs" + "Self help")

Here are the original niches: We're completely refreshing these with new information and affiliate products, so they'll be just like a new one too.

8) Self help
9) Internet marketing (you all know about that one!)
10) Wholesale sourcing (a.k.a "Sell on eBay")
11) Dating tips for men
12) Save your relationship/Get your ex back
13) Learn to sing
14) Green energy
15) Dog training
16) Weight loss
17) Muscle building
18) Golf

You could grab the "golf" niche and the "Hawaii travel" niche and then take a wonderful tax deductible holiday :)

Hi Aletta,

These new niches sound wonderfully profitable. I'm also glad to hear that the release will be soon. As I said before, I can't wait. I'm just wondering if it will remain at the $497 price point, or will the updated version cost more? I need to know how much to budget for.

Thanks for your input.

Hey Terry,

I'm not too sure what the price point will be at this stage. The "buy through the sales page" price will very likely either stay the same, or go up.

If you're scared about price increases and want to lock in the current price, anybody who purchases AffiloJetpack NOW is going to be automatically upgraded to the new version when it is released.

Hi again Aletta,

Thanks for your quick response.

I will be anxiously awaiting the email announcing the release of this updated version. I will sign up as soon as it becomes available. I'm glad the price isn't expected to jump that much as I am, like a lot of us, on a tight budget at this point.

Thanks again!

Hi Aletta what do you mean by combining two niches as a larger website not sure what you mean by this???

This is more advanced. If you wanted to build a larger authority site instead of a smaller niche site, you could unlock two related niches and use the content/newsletters to build one larger website.

The example I gave was "Diet and nutrition" + "Weight loss". People who are interested in weight loss are probably also interested in eating better. People who are interested in eating better are often interested in doing so because they want to lose weight. There's a lot of crossover.

So if you wanted to, you could combine the two niches into one website and get twice the amount of information. Twice the number of articles. Etc.

The other thing you can do is to build two separate websites, but then you can promote your weight loss website to the people on your diet and nutrition list. What I would probably do is build one website first, wait until it's getting a reasonable amount of traffic and has a good number of people on my list, and then I'd build my next website and send out an email to all the people on my original list, telling them to go and check out this other website.

It's a good way to get a quick and instant boost to a new website. But it only really works if the topics are related. I probably wouldn't have too much success promoting my new Survival website to my weight loss subscribers.

I'm not sure whether there will be any early-access up for grabs, but you can be sure that if you're on the mailing list you'll be notified. This is going to be BIG.

As a quick update: We're still doing our in-house testing, getting our own staff to run through the process and seeing if there are any big issues that pop up. Mostly the issues we're bumping into seem to be just small UX issues. (Like it was extremely easy to accidentally unlock niches in the heat of the moment .... we've fixed that one now :)

We're also busy putting together support documentation, so you all know what you're doing. The word is that you might be hearing my lovely voice on some of the walkthrough videos ... woohoo! :)

Definitely not next year!

We're currently doing a final check over all the content, I'm recording help videos, just giving everything a general tidy-up. It has taken us a fair bit longer than expected, but we'll be letting our first batch of beta testers through in the next couple of weeks.

Sigh, just noticed that the AffiloJetpack's price tag is now $997, way far more expensive then the previous $497. Is this for real? And no sight of the official release yet?

I talked with customer services and they informed me that change are done and the $997 is the correct price tag. I agree it is much higher than expected...still worth it and it reduces the competition because not everyone has $1000.00 to spend,

I apologize for any inconvenience or confusion caused. The USD$997 price includes automatic upgrade to the new Affilojetpack version 2 once it is released to the public. It also has access to the new interface, and the site building process has been upgraded. It's more automated now.

I appreciate your patience and hope that helps. Have a good day!

TZ the new version is already out. We are running a 'launch' for it at the start of October. But it is available for purchase right now: http://www.affilorama.com/affilojetpack

It took a long time because there was a HUGE amount of work involved in creating this, both the software AND the high quality niche packs including the carefully crafted auto responders and so forth.

I am confused now. I bought into the "old" AffiloJetpack some time ago and, to date, unlocked only one of my Jetpacks - partly because of the work involved in editing and uploading 100 newsletters one-by-one. From what I understand, the updated version of Jetpack not only makes that task more-or-less redundant - but also adds several new niches AND updates the information in the existing niches. Having paid full whack to join the original AJ, what is the cost for "upgrading" to the new AJ, together with its tools? Also, this time round, I'd like to host my own sites. And should I throw away my AWeber account, which I started when I originally joined AJ?

As an existing AJP member you should have received an email quite some time ago inviting you to upgrade to the new version. If you've unsubscribed from our emails (or it disappeared into your spam folder for some reason) you might not have received that notification.

The cost to upgrade from AJP1 to AJP2 is $97, which is a pretty good deal considering that the new AJP is now $997. You'll also get one extra bonus niche when you upgrade, so if you had 5 niches originally, you'll now have 6.

Here's the email that went out earlier in the year, with links to where you can upgrade:

We're pleased to announce that doors are now open for you to
upgrade to AffiloJetpack 2.0!

Our long-awaited overhaul of AffiloJetpack is almost ready to
launch, but before we open it up to the general public, we're
giving existing AffiloJetpack members the chance to upgrade for a
HUGE discount off the launch price.

Not only will you get access to 7 new hugely profitable evergreen
niches, we'll also give you one free bonus Jetpack niche (worth
$197).

So even if you've already built your 5 websites, you can
still try out the new features of AJP2.

Visit this page to upgrade to AffiloJetpack 2.0 for $97 + get 1
bonus niche free!

==> http://www.affilorama.com/order/3046

WHAT'S NEW IN AJP2?

* 7 new highly profitable, evergreen niches to choose from. New
niches are: Dating tips for women, Natural health, Survival, Hawaii
travel, Spirituality & alternative beliefs, Pregnancy / fertility,
Diet & nutrition.

* Updated content and affiliate products for the original 11
niches.

* A new super-streamlined website setup process.

* Uses the latest version of AffiloTheme.

* Your customised affiliate links are automatically inserted into
the newsletter sequence (saves you having to edit 90+ emails).

* "Friendly" affiliate redirects automatically created on your
website (saves you having to add them all manually).

* Automatically upload all your emails into Fluttermail (saves you
from having to copy/paste your 90+ emails into your autoresponder).
** Note that this only works with Fluttermail, and an additional
monthly subscription to Fluttermail is required.

* New comparison tool to show you which niches are easier, and why.

* New "niche analysis" section full of market research
information, including: sub-niche ideas, authority blogs and forums
in your niche and traffic strategies specific to each niche.

* New article research packs for each niche. Instead of
pre-written articles, we now provide the ideas, structure and
research. This allows you to choose your own keywords and angle,
avoid duplicate content penalties, and get multiple articles out of
one research document.

* A list of recommended writers for each niche, if you need help
creating your content.

* A new (optional) Jetpack community for meeting other
AffiloJetpack members who are working on the same niche. Use it to
arrange mutually beneficial link exchanges, guest posting, JV
partnerships or solo ads.

NEW: GET AFFILOBLUEPRINT FOR JUST $47 WHEN YOU UPGRADE

If you need step-by-step training for setting up your AffiloJetpack
website and building traffic, you can now grab AffiloBlueprint for
75% off the normal price. ($47 for AJP2 members, normally $197.)

AffiloBlueprint is our most detailed step-by-step training option,
and it's perfect for using alongside AffiloJetpack. AffiloJetpack
gives you everything you need, and AffiloBlueprint shows you how
to put it into action!

It is up-to-date with the latest strategies and goes into a
lot more detail than the old AffiloJetpack training.

We strongly recommend that you grab AffiloBlueprint if you don't
have it already.

Once you upgrade to AffiloJetpack 2.0 you can grab AffiloBlueprint
for just $47 from inside the members' area.

WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR AJP1 WEBSITES WHEN YOU UPGRADE?

If you already have niches unlocked and websites built through
AffiloJetpack, you can choose to only update the content for that
niche. Your existing website will not be affected.

Alternatively you can choose to completely erase your existing
website and start from scratch using all the new features of
AffiloJetpack.

READY TO UPGRADE? HERE'S HOW

1. Make sure you're logged into your Affilorama account

2. Visit http://www.affilorama.com/order/3046

3. Click "Secure checkout" to proceed to Clickbank

4. Proceed through payment. The $97 upgrade is a one-time payment.
Your free bonus niche will be added to your account on completion.

You will be taken to an upgrade page where you can choose to
perform either a "content only" upgrade, or a "complete" upgrade on
your existing unlocked niches and any websites you have hosted with
us.

There is a FAQ down the bottom of this upgrade page which should
answer any questions you have about this process. If you have any
other questions at this stage, please let us know

==> http://www.affilorama.com/contact

If you do have questions, you can safely exit the upgrade page. No
changes will be made to any of your websites until you submit the
upgrade page.

Once you've completed the upgrade, you'll be taken to the
dashboard, where there is an introduction video that will show you
what's new in AJP2.

Hi everyone - I was in exactly the same situation as Walid. Fully paid up Version 1 member, only one jetpack unlocked, and then let it lie fallow whilst I did other things. I came back today, found this thread and upgraded to V2 via the link above.
Believe me, the upgrade for existing V1'ers is awesome. I am super impressed with the changes that have been made and the standard/quality of the new stuff compared to what I originally bought into (which was good anyway)!
Buy in with confidence.

Buy in with confidence.

Hi, I am currently thinking about purchasing affilojetpack. Would you truly recommend it? Have you actually made money from it? I'll be very grateful for your honest answer.

Hi and thanks for trusting me with your question...
In all honesty... I bought into Affilojetpack in 2011, and opened one niche pack. I purchased a domain name to match, and began to work my way through the (lots and lots of) help provided by Mark and the team.
I write for a living, and so all the pre written stuff provided (they are 'prompt' articles really - Google would bomb you if you used them verbatim, but the emails can be used verbatim) within JP are a doddle for me to look at on one screen whilst putting it into my own words in another.
All it takes is a little research and an ability to rework the words provided in your niche pack and you can save months and months of work.
That said, halfway through my initial niche setup, I was contacted by a well known marketer and asked if I wanted to work for her, providing articles, writing advertising copy and running her helpdesks and I took up her offer, leaving Jetpack on my hard drive for later.
It's now 2015 and, tired of using my words to earn other people a lot of money (one thing I wrote earned $128k in only 6 weeks and I was paid $1k for 16 weeks work!), Ive decided to come back to Affilorama and set up my own little business.
In doing so I paid to upgrade my 2011 Jetpack to the latest offering for 2015 and the difference is chalk and cheese. As well as (updated) email copy and newsletters, there is now a keyword list, pre-researched affiliate products you can promote straight off, and even a link finder for your websites (which are all hosted by Mark within your purchase).
Have I made money? No. I stopped halfway through my first niche.
Do I think I can make ongoing, steady money with the backing of Mark and the Team? Absolutely.
With my AJP upgrade I have five niches to unlock. That's five affiliate websites potentially earning as fast as I can change the copy and get them up and running.
I don't want to be a zillionaire out of this, but just earn a steady background income that will help pay the bills.
The bottom line is if I wanted to build a 'real' business selling something, I'm going to need stock, premises, services et al, and then people to come by and buy, Or I could source a dropshipper etc, but that's a huge learning curve and financial implication for me. I also work at other things, and need a business that can accomodate that.
With AJP all I need to do is work hard on my content and links and get each website up with good stuff on it, and tweak it regularly with new content to keep sweet with the search engines
If each of those websites earn only $7 a week, at the end of year one I will have repaid my initial outlay with 100% profit.
Once upon a time was Squidoo (now gone). A place where you could write a single article (called a lens), describing in detail, and containing links to, an affiliate product that gave me a commission.
One single lens earned a steady $250 a quarter straight into my pocket, so I know Affiliate Marketing, done well, can provide a healthy background income.
Getting into AJP isn't 'pay Mark and then sit back and feet up on the table time', it's all about maximum help and support whilst you put in your own effort and time to build your business.
Plus (and a big Plus), if you are new to Affiliate Marketing, you will get AffiloBlueprint (Marks flagship Affiliate learning course) attached to your dashboard, giving you probably the best learning platform for new Affiliates on the net.
$997 is a sizeable investment, and I know how big a decision this might be for you, but in total honesty, I have come across 'courses' that cost three times as much with about 1% of the content found within AJP, and you will still have to do all the research, the writing, the website building and setup yourself.
Sorry to have banged on a bit, and apologies also for not saying 'yay dive in, the water's fine!'
It's a big decision for you, but I've already made it, and I'm very comfortable with the amount of support and expertise available from the AJP team and the AJP members around me.
Probably not the answer you were looking for, but I sincerely hope this helped.

Thank you for your answer, it actually helped me a lot. You are right , I'm not looking to be a millionaire either, I just want to work from home and earn a steady income, but still work. I will definitely purchase AFJ once I get some other things taken care of. Thank you very much again for replying, I really appreciate it.
